Damaged in Shipment

If you receive your product and it has been damaged during shipment, please email us at within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. Include a description of the damages and also include photographs. This information is extremely helpful to us in making sure that our products are packaged and shipped properly. We will liaise with the supplier to arrange for the damaged products to be replaced.

Important conditions for returns

Please note that you can only return a product if it is defective. The product returned shall be inspected on its receipt. Please ensure that the following conditions are fulfilled before returning the product:

  • The product shall be in unused and original condition;
  • Free from stains or marks
  • You shall inform us about the return of the product within a period of 7 days;
  • You shall not accept any open box deliveries;
  • The return package shall include everything that arrived with the package when you made the purchase, including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies & accessories, invoices/warranty cards and other documentation.
  • You agree and acknowledge that “Value For Money Bargains” reserves the right to determine whether the product is in saleable condition. Returned items considered unsellable will be rejected. “Value For Money Bargains” will not issue a Refund, Credit Note or Exchange these items.
  • Items that are returned to us with transit damage from a courier organised by the returning customer will be unable to be refunded. We encourage customers returning to take out transit insurance where possible to avoid disappointment should this happen. All items are quality control checked when returned before a refund is to be processed.
  • It is the customers responsibility to organise and cover payment to third party couriers if required, and to return items to “Value For Money Bargains” in an unused, originally packaged, undamaged condition.


We will send you an email after your return has been received and examined to advise you that we have received your returned item. We will also tell you if your return has been approved or rejected by the supplier. If it is approved, we will liaise with the supplier to either; swap the product, issue a store credit or refund the money back to your account.
